What is Executive Coaching? How does this differ from Life Coaching?

The difference between life coaching and executive coaching is that executive coaching is considered when an individual/company wants to boost their professional performance.  It’s a results-driven process that assists the coachee to attain agreed upon goals or overcome obstacles in their career development.

In life coaching the emphasis is more strongly directed toward the well-being of the individual. With life coaching, the happiness and fulfilment of the individual is how success will be measured.

Executive Coaching involves the use of an external, professionally-certified executive coach. Executive Coaching is for executives that are open to coaching, open to direct feedback, and willing to work on improving their performance in the workplace, it is a very effective process that can deliver a high ROI and meaningful change.

The Executive Coach is our Managing Director, Mark Stuart who is a certified executive coach. He currently provides executive coaching to many companies and individuals here in Asia. He has over 15 years of management and investment banking experience and is also an expert in human relations as he is also a certified behavioural consultant and leadership trainer.

What are your rates?

Executive Coaching rates start at $2,000 for a 3-month engagement. This comprises of 8 sessions, depending on your schedule and our progress in reaching your goals.

This is an all-inclusive cost and includes a free DISC assessment.   We also have access to other profiling tools that allow you to focus on specific areas of your performance.

Yes! We have been engaged to provide both individual, and group executive coaching for companies across Asia in Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. Group coaching classes are typically with 2-6 people; discounts are available for requests like these.

How often will my coaching sessions be?

It really depends on how often you want it to be! Most coaching engagements last 3-6 months, though you may want to extend it as new goals emerge.

The frequency of coaching depends on the agreed goals and your schedule.  Usually, this will be weekly or fortnightly in the first month, and then move to fortnightly thereafter.

You will also get email access to the coach even when you are not in the coaching session, for the duration of the entire coaching engagement.

What is the outcome of a coaching engagement with you?

We are results focused, based on goals we agree at the start of the engagement.  After the initial session where we map out the target development areas, each session will focus on a different part of the process that continues moving you forward towards your goals. Therefore, at the end of the process, you should see a change or improvement in certain behaviours that allow you to advance in your career.

Will I have access to my coach beyond the regular coaching session?

Absolutely! Your executive coach always be reachable to you via email and will respond to your questions promptly throughout the duration of your coaching agreement.

How long is each coaching session?

Each coaching session ranges from 45 mins to one hour, but we are flexible to your schedule and preferred duration.

Where will the coaching sessions take place?

Wherever you want! We can come to you.  If you are in Singapore, we can conduct one-on-one sessions at a location convenient to you, such as your office, a cafe near you, or we can also have access to a meeting room in the CBD so you can have a confidential discussion. If not in Singapore, we also provide executive coaching through Skype or phone.
